ESL Lesson Download: St. Paddy’s Day
| Teaching House Nomads Blog
Hey TEFL Teachers!
March 17th is coming up fast, which means your English language students will soon be asking you questions about shamrocks, leprechauns, green beer and the Irish madness that is St. Patrick’s Day.
Wait, what’s that, you say? You don’t have a lesson planned for St. Paddy’s Day yet?
One of our very own CELTA teacher trainers, Fiona Mulcahy (yep, you guessed it – she’s Irish), has put together this fabulous St. Paddy’s Day reading lesson for your Intermediate-level students’ amusement and learning.
All you need to do is:
1. Click on the link below to download the lesson plan and materials:

2. Go find something green to wear.
3. Pour yourself a beer. (Once you’re done teaching, of course.)
Cheers! Here’s to having fun in the classroom!
Oh, and don’t forget to let us know how this lesson went with your class!
