Can I Teach English in the USA?

What are my chances of finding work teaching English in the United States?

Like New York, there are a number of concentrations of private language schools around the United States. Though none are as big as New York, many cities have 30 or more language schools. Boston, Miami, San Francisco and Philadelphia are all big centers for language learning. But even smaller cities like Wayne, Newark and Dayton have language schools and a need for language teachers.

The Cambridge CELTA is not a qualification to teach at public schools; to teach at a public school in the United States requires state certification.
