Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT)
This flexible and accessible award for non-native teachers focuses on testing core teaching knowledge needed by teachers, whatever their background and teaching experience. It is a theoretical test and does not contain the evaluation of hands-on teaching practice. Engineered and administered by the University of Cambridge ESOL division, the Teaching Knowledge Test is for those teachers and aspiring teachers to prove their knowledge of teaching methods and practices, but who don't have time to spend in a classroom setting.
