Accommodation Options in Boston

This summer we will be offering three different options for accommodation in Boston at Suffolk University, the Massachusetts College of Art Smith Hall, and the Boston YMCA. Suffolk University Summer Housing

For the most convenient and hassle-free option for housing, Suffolk University's Residence Hall, located just a short walk from our classrooms on the Suffolk University campus is your best option. This option offers single and double rooms that include linen, local telephone service and breakfast. The Residence Hall features 24-hour security, air conditioning, a computer lab, twin size beds, and semi-private bathrooms.

Double rooms are $49 per night, or $1372 for 28 nights, and single rooms are $75 per night, or $2100 for 28 nights.

In addition to the walkable commute to class, Suffolk University is located in the heart of Downtown Boston, next to the Downtown Crossing Subway "T" Station, and the bustling Boston Common. Rooms are limited and fill up quickly so apply soon!

Massachusetts College of Art-Smith Hall Housing

Located just a 20 minute subway ride away from our classes at Suffolk University, Smith Hall on the Massachusetts College of Art campus is another comfortable option at a more affordable price. Smith Hall consists of suites with double occupancy bedrooms at double and single prices. Each room as a bed, dresser, desk and chair for use within the room, and a bathroom shared by suite occupants. The residence has available wireless Internet and Ethernet ports, and parking, television rental, and linen rental for a small fee. The premises is ideal for CELTA students, with quiet study rooms and 24-hour security.

Double rooms are $210 per week, or $840 for 4 weeks, and single rooms are $300 per week, or $1200 for 4 weeks.

Huntington Avenue YMCA of Greater Boston

Located in the heart of trendy Back Bay, the Y is in a great location, about a 15 minute subway ride to Suffolk University and a short walk to many restaurants and shops. The Boston YMCA features daily linen and towel services, coin operated washers and dryers, access to a fitness facility and pool. However, the accommodation options are very basic-- this is a low-budget hostel residence that is not necessarily set up for students.

Double rooms cost $250 per week, or $1000 for 4 weeks.
Single rooms cost $275 per week, or $1100 for 4 weeks.
