ADDRESS: TH Bogota. Calle 10 No. 4-09 Barrio La Candelaria. Bogotá, D.C. Colombia

TH Bogotá is right in the midst of the historic section of the city, surrounded by dozens of cafes and restaurants, which serve local Colombian cuisine, as well as a variety of vegetarian and international options.  Students will find a Juan Valdez café (a Colombian-owned chain that is the Latin American answer to Starbucks) one block from the school, and several museums within walking distance.

The school itself is located in a lovely mature building in the heart of the historical district of La Candelaria. Nicknamed 'el palacio' by the school owners, it is famous for serving as a resting place and dressing room for several former Colombian presidents before their ceremony of investiture. The building has many original features including beautiful tile work and wooden floors, carved wooden ceilings, a wide, wooden staircase that sweeps up to the first floor, and a spacious interior courtyard.

In addition to the reception area and offices, the school is comprised of 12 spacious classrooms and a study room with computers that students can access before or after classes. Candidates have access to free wireless internet as well as free printing and photocopying and a fully stocked CELTA library.

Between classes, candidates can study in the sunny interior courtyard, or take a break upstairs and play a game of oosball.

IH Bogotá holds English classes for the local community; therefore international students have the opportunity to meet and make friends with the locals from Bogotá.
